Newbern board approves sewer use ordinance, awards bid

Members of the Newbern Board of Mayor and Aldermen braved icy conditions on Tuesday evening to host the town's regular monthly board meeting in the municipal courtroom. Identity theft and similar scams cost Americans an estimated $1.5 billion in 2011.
