Funeral services for Fannie Mae Hart, 90, Dyersburg, were held Sunday at Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Burkett officiating. Burial was in Bellevernon Cemetery. She died Friday June 19, 2015 at the Dyersburg Manor. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas daughter of the late Alan and Effie Inez Coburn Mackmaster but had lived most of her life in the Crockett and Dyer County area...

Dyersburg police chief asks public for help this July 4th

It was just a year ago that Dyersburg Police were challenged again on the Fourth of July, dealing with disorderly crowds of over 300 people whose intentions were to harm police and create havoc in the community. According to DPD Chief Steve Isbell, in one 24-hour period his department responded to 251 calls for service, of which 79 were for noise complaints. ...
