Olive Branch Outfitters ribbon cutting

The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce was pleased to host a ribbon cutting at Olive Branch Outfitters on Oct. 21. Olive Branch Outfitters has recently changed ownership to Lindsay Shoulders, owner of The Mustard Seed, and gone through a few changes to make it what it is today. Lindsay was joined by friends and family, employees, Chamber diplomats, Chamber President and CEO Allen Hester, and City Mayor John Holden, for the ribbon cutting. After the ribbon was cut, Mayor Holden presented Lindsay and the entire Olive Branch Outfitters crew with a plaque commemorating their membership with the Chamber and ribbon cutting ceremony. Olive Branch Outfitters is located at 470 Mall Blvd. in Suite C right next to its sister store, The Mustard Seed.

Heckethorn promotes employee team spirit, community business growth

There was a pep rally Wednesday afternoon at Heckethorn Manufacturing Company in Dyersburg. "Coach" Timothy A. Masek, HECO president and CEO, rallied 260 players in the parking lot just outside the building. Composed of both men and women, the team consisted of Heckethorn employees in-between shifts gathered to hear the coach lift there spirits. Dyersburg city and county offices host early trick-or-treaters

Dyersburg was a 'sweet' town Friday afternoon as the city of Dyersburg opened many of its offices for trick or treating. City Hall appeared to be the most popular of the downtown venues since it was the starting point for picking up 'city bags' and a location map for other participating offices. Some local merchants also opened their doors, especially those located near those city office participants...
