Barbara Ann Eskridge, age 63, of Halls died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at her home in Halls. Barbara was born October 11, 1952 in Dyersburg, TN. She is the daughter of the late Clyde and the late Elizabeth (Phillips) Myracle. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband: Charles "Butch" Eskridge, one daughter: Lisa George of Halls, TN and two sons: Joe Eskridge of Gates, TN, John Eskridge of Halls, TN. ...

With this being this writer's first postseason since returning to the sidelines, it's good to see that one thing has changed since I last covered high school football back in 2010. Having never been a fan of the Z-Plan, regardless of how it may have been tinkered with over the course of its implementation here in Tennessee, it's good to be back to the regional format that many of us grew accustomed to over the years...

DPD probe leads to multiple arrests for gambling, drugs
