(Local News ~ 04/27/16)
Dyersburg Noon Rotary Club President Kim Hill recently presented Community Cancer Fund Director Debbie Harris with a generous donation check of $1,250 in memory of Melissa 'Missy' LaBonte. With each donation received, the Community Cancer Fund is able to help yet another individual, struggling in the battle against cancer. Already harboring the weight of pricey medical and travel expenses, every little bit truly helps. Unlike United Way funds, Community Cancer Fund donations go to the direct benefit of Dyer County residents, and with such a large number of individuals diagnosed each and every day with cancer, it is imperative that we, as a community, work toward helping to enhance the lives of our surrounding neighbors. Those wishing to make a donation may do so by contacting Debbie Harris at 731.288.8005.
