Homeland Security hosts 'active shooter' seminar in Newbern

Early Tuesday morning a group comprised of business professionals, factory representatives, law enforcement officials, and representatives from local organizations including Newbern City Hall, Rough Country and Dyer County School Systems made their way to Oakview Recreational Center to attend a one-and-a-half-hour 'active shooter' training session hosted by Homeland Security Regional Advisor Joseph G. Hudgins.

Isbell addresses shootings in public safety committee meeting
