THP responds to 2-vehicle accident on Hwy. 78

On Friday afternoon, just shortly before 3 p.m., members of the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a 2-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 78 and Palmer Subdivision Road, just north of Dyersburg. The vehicles involved were a commercial semi truck owned by ECM Express of Ridgely, Tenn. and driven by Michael Ray Harbin of Obion, Tenn. as well as a 2007 Ford Taurus driven by Charles Campbell of Tiptonville, Tenn.

Firestone presents $2,000 sponsorship to Relay

On Aug. 3, Firestone presented a check from Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund to Relay to Relay for Life members in the amount of $2,000. This marks the third year Firestone has sponsored Relay for Life, which is the largest cancer fundraising event worldwide.
