DPS recognized as silver-level behavior model of demonstration school

Recently, the Tennessee Behavior Supports Project designated Dyersburg Primary School as an RTI2 Behavior Model of Demonstration School. Only five West Tennessee schools received this recognition for the 2017-18 school year. DPS is also one of three West Tennessee schools to receive the silver-level award designation.

Youth waterfowl hunt, banquet this weekend

More than 120 young sportsmen and women from across the state will convene in Dyersburg this weekend for the annual Davis P. Rice Memorial Youth Waterfowl Hunt. The invitation-only event, which has been located in Dyersburg since its inception, is known as one of the largest youth waterfowl hunts in the United States. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event.
