The exterior concrete logs feature a custom cypress look, and provide passive heating and cooling year-round, reducing the load on the HVAC systems. LED lights in the parking area provide safe illumination for visitors while also preserving night-sky views and preventing light pollution. Sustainably sourced materials used in the construction and design process include patio furniture made from recycled soda bottles as well as furniture purchased from local manufacturers that meet Tennessee Wood Products requirements.
