St. Jude Rides makes annual stop in Dyersburg, raises over $1 million

The rumbling sound of motorcycles filled the air Thursday evening as hundreds of riders with the annual St. Jude Rides, benefitting St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, made their yearly stop in Dyersburg. Riders were treated to a meal Thursday evening at the Lannom Center and stayed overnight in multiple lodging accommodations prior to departing for Memphis Friday morning.

Local attorney among two men charged with extortion

DPD works to identify robbery suspect

On September 6, 2019 at approximately 1:45 a.m., Dyersburg Police officers responded to an armed robbery at the Marathon Food Mart, located at 2555 Lake Road. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the store clerk who informed them the store had been robbed. The suspect entered the store with a white mask covering the facial area, wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’10” and a slim build.
