New features added to COVID-19 website

The Tennessee Department of Health and Tennessee’s Unified Command Group have added new features to the COVID19.tn.gov website to make it easier for users to find county-specific information and request an appointment for COVID-19 vaccination.

Dyer County COVID-19 update for January 15

With the release of the Tennessee Department of Health’s (TDH) daily COVID-19 update on Friday, the department reported Dyer County as having a total of 4,692 COVID-19 cases, which consist of confirmed and probable cases. Additionally, the TDH said that Dyer County had 321 active cases with 4,290 recoveries/inactive cases. The total number of deaths due to the virus remained at 81.

Dyer County Health Department offers COVID-19 vaccination by appointment for residents in Phase 1B, those age 75 and up

The Dyer County Health Department is now booking appointments for individuals in Phase 1B of the Tennessee COVID-19 Vaccination Plan and those aged 75 and up who wish to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. Residents of Dyer County can find out if they’re eligible for these phase(s) of the vaccination plan by visiting https://covid19.tn.gov/covid-19-vaccines/eligibility/.
