Local man arrested on weapon, drug charges

Dyersburg Police arrested a local man Tuesday for illegal weapon and drug possession following a traffic stop on Forrest Street. Rodney Warren, 51, of Dyersburg was taken into custody on charges of possession of schedule II with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule VI, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
