Dyer County senior Addie Roberson participated in three sports during her high school career and the Lady Choctaw runner/cheerleader will continue to do so in college as she signed with Bethel University on Tuesday for cross country, track and cheerleading.

One of the most exciting stories to develop over the past two seasons has been back-to-back runs by Dyer County’s volleyball team at the Class AA State Tournament. The Lady Choctaw volleyball team was competitive annually before the 2021 season. But, competing in Class AAA here in the western side of the state does mean one thing. Much like with boys basketball, when you head to Memphis, girls volleyball in Class AAA is very strong and it can be a chore to get past the teams from Region 8AAA...
