With their quarterfinal loss to Greeneville in the TSSAA Class AA State Quarterfinals last Wednesday in Chattanooga, the careers of six Lady Trojan soccer players came to a close as the seniors finished their time at Dyersburg High School as the most successful group in the program’s history.

AMC Dyersburg closes movie theater, leaving Dyer County without a cinema

Area cinema-goers will have to travel to Jackson or Humboldt for the closest movie theater now that AMC Dyersburg has closed. On October 29, Dyersburg’s only theater showed its last films, and so far, no entity has announced an opening of another theater or a reopening of this long-time Green Village locale.
