Newbern residents speak out against commercial rezoning for Dollar General location on TN-211

The Newbern Planning Commission convened Monday evening, January 8, to discuss rezoning property located on TN-211 from R-1/R-2 (residential) to B-1 (commercial) at the request of Dollar General. Numerous members of the public were present for the meeting, many expressing their opposition to the rezoning of the property.
