On Thursday evening, administrators, educators and board members of the Dyer County School System met in the library of Fifth Consolidated's brand new school to pay tribute to a gracious leader. Anne Kirk was honored for the difference she made in the lives of both the students in her care and the educators she mentored during her tenure in the Dyer County School System. Kirk served an elementary school teacher and as principal of both RoEllen Elementary and Fifth Consolidated Elementary schools. A plaque will hang in her honor in the library of Fifth's new building.
