Flag ceremony honors Dyersburg WWII Vet and retires flags

Jackson, Tennessee Mayor Scott Conger declared June 24, 2023, Flag Retirement Day. The event drew dignitaries, retired veterans, active members of the military. Dyersburg resident, Seaman 1st Class and WWII veteran Jack Claiborne, spoke of his experience during the D-Day invasion.
