Rickie A. Anderson, 56, of Downers Grove, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at his residence. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Newbern Planning Commission fails to meet quorum

City planning commission approves new Domino's site plan

Soon enough if "you have 30 minutes" you're likely to have a Domino's Pizza once again, as the city planning commission unanimously approved a site plan for a new store during their regular monthly meeting on Thursday morning. Couple charged with child endangerment tops list of October indictments

The Dyer County Grand Jury met this week and handed down indictments for the October grand jury session. Topping the list were Britney Jones, 26, and Charles Russell (aka. Monkey Russell), 38, 40 Holly Springs Cemetery Road, and Darren Kizziah, 21, 1534 Harris Road, Dyersburg, Tenn., who were indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine over 5 grams, initiation manufacture of methamphetamine, and four counts of aggravated child endangerment. ...
